After Duurtlang came in a bit too hot over a kerb.

I’d like to know how they figured this out at Citroën. I imagine they must have found out during testing of DS prototypes, that they could do this.

Man, I love these old Citroens.....and they are really reliable if you keep up the maintenance as well, even the complicated suspension!

You and me both!
Despite the occasional LHM leak (turned out to be a return y-piece on the front suspension that had disintegrated, easy fix once found) it’s been remarkably solid.
Best thing about it is that all-in, including original purchase price and all maintenance costs, the BX has cost me a grand total of £470 ;)
I have grand plans for it too when I get around to it. Banded steelies and a cobbled together low-blow XU9 petrol turbo so it can waft along on a wave of torque ;)
